เมื่อวันที่ 23 กันยายน 2563 เวลา 09.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุม โรงแรมแกรนด์จังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด นายทวี จงประเสริฐ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด เป็นประธานในพิธีการจัดเวทีสาธารณะเพื่อรับฟังความคิดเห็นต่อบทบาทของสภาผู้บริโภคจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด โดยการดำเนินงานของนายประยูร บุญพิมล นายกสมาคมผู้บริโภคร้อยเอ็ดและคณะ พร้อมด้วยกรรมการสมาคมผู้บริโภคร้อยเอ็ด เครือข่ายองค์กรผู้บริโภค และตัวแทนสถาบันการศึกษาได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏร้อยเอ็ดเข้าร่วมประชุม
กิจกรรมประกอบด้วย เวทีสาธารณะเพื่อรับฟังความคิดเห็นต่อบทบาทของสภาผู้บริโภคจังหวัด,เวทีความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานการคุ้มครองและพิทักษ์สิทธิผู้บริโภคระดับจังหวัด,กิจกรรมสนับสนุนการปฏิบัติการในการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคในระดับจังหวัด โดยมีเป้าหมาย 2 ประการคือ มีแนวทางและบทบาทการทำงานของสภาผู้บริโภคจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด,มีรูปประธรรมความร่วมมือในการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคขององค์กรผู้บริโภคในจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด
ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้เครือข่ายผู้บริโภคมีความรู้ความเข้าใจและสามารถขยายผลขับเคลื่อนงานคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคอย่างมีคุณภาพและแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้เสนอความคิดเห็นต่อบทบาทของสภาผู้บริโภคจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ดได้ นายกสมาคมผู้บริโภคร้อยเอ็ด กล่าวรายงานว่า สมาคมสหพันธ์องค์กรผู้บริโภคและสำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพหรือสสส.ได้สนับสนุนโครงการติดตามกระบวนการจัดตั้งสภาองค์กรของผู้บริโภค ในการคุ้มครองและพิทักษ์สิทธิผู้บริโภคด้านสุขภาพขึ้น เพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพขององค์กรผู้บริโภคในระดับจังหวัด ให้สามารถทำงานได้ตามเจตนารมณ์ ของกฎหมายและรัฐธรรมนูญมาตรา 46 ที่บัญญัติว่า สิทธิของผู้บริโภคย่อมได้รับความคุ้มครอง บุคคลย่อมมีสิทธิร่วมกันจัดตั้งองค์กร ของผู้บริโภคเพื่อคุ้มครองและพิทักษ์สิทธิของผู้บริโภค และองค์กรของผู้บริโภคดังกล่าว มีสิทธิรวมกันจัดตั้งเป็นองค์กร ที่มีความเป็นอิสระ เพื่อให้เกิดพลังในการคุ้มครองและพิทักษ์สิทธิของผู้บริโภค โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากรัฐ
ประธานกล่าวว่า การประชุมวันนี้ชี้ให้เห็น การขับเคลื่อนงานคุ้มครองผู้บริโภค การรวมตัวของภาคีเครือข่าย คุ้มครองผู้บริโภคและความก้าวหน้า ในการยกระดับการทำงานขององค์กรผู้บริโภคภาคประชาชน ที่มีความอิสระเป็นประโยชน์แก่ผู้บริโภค และประชาชนในจังหวัดร้อยเอ็ด

The activities cover with two goals: having guidelines and working roles of the Consumer Council of Roi Et Province, having a figure of cooperation in consumer protection of consumer organizations in Roi Et Province.
This is to enable the consumer network to have knowledge and understanding and be able to expand the drive of quality consumer protection work and exchange knowledge and offer opinions on the role of the Roi Et Provincial Consumer Council. President of the Roi Et Consumers Association said that The Federation of Consumer Organizations Association and the Office of the Health Promotion Fund or Thai Health Promotion Foundation have supported the project to monitor the process of establishing the Consumer Organization Council in the protection and protection of consumer rights to health To develop the potential of consumer organizations at the provincial level to be able to work as intended of the law and the Constitution, Article 46 states that Consumer rights shall be protected. Individuals have the right to jointly establish an organization of consumers to protect and protect the rights of consumers. The organization of such consumers have the right to form an organization that is independent to create the power to protect and protect the rights of consumers with support from the state. The president said this meeting pointed out driving consumer protection gathering of network partners consumer protection and advancement to enhance the work of consumer organizations, the people’s sector that is independent is beneficial to consumers and people in Roi Et Province.
