Provincial-level collaboration

Roi Et Rajabhat University and internal university departments have established a total of six provincial health collaboration agreements for the year 2023-2024, which include:

1.1 Rajabhat Roi Et University has signed a memorandum of understanding with 7 local organizations in various provinces to enhance health and quality of life in communities. The main objective is to create cooperation in each area, including facilities, research, and organizing nursing-related activities, such as community health surveys, health promotion training, and establishing public health cooperation networks among different areas. These agreements have been set from the year 2021 to 2025.

Roi Et Rajabhat University, through the Community Public Health Program, Department of Science and Technology, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, has signed a declaration of cooperation to manage road accidents with a network of 44 public health educational institutions. This collaboration aims to strengthen and empower public health educational institutions in road accident management, promoting and advancing academic work, research, and knowledge management for road accident management and community safety. This agreement is effective from the date of signing, January 16, 2024, until January 16, 2029.

The Faculty of Nursing at Roi-Et Rajabhat University has established five-year collaborations with key hospitals in Northeastern Thailand, including Khon Kaen, Buriram, Roi-Et, and Sakon Nakhon hospitals. These MOUs, effective from 2023 to 2028, outline goals and commitments in health science service, education, and research. The primary objectives include:

  1. Curriculum Development and Enhancement: The faculty and hospitals commit to jointly develop and improve nursing and healthcare-related curricula. This aims to align educational programs with practical needs and evolving healthcare trends, preparing nursing students with essential industry skills over the five-year period.
  2. Training and Professional Development: Emphasis is placed on hands-on training for students and continuous professional development for healthcare staff. This collaborative effort provides nursing students with practical experience and fosters knowledge exchange through internships, workshops, and seminars during the duration of the agreement.
  3. Research and Innovation in Health Sciences: A critical focus of these MOUs is the encouragement of joint research initiatives. Faculty and hospital staff are motivated to collaborate on research projects that contribute to healthcare advancements, improved clinical practices, and community health promotion.
  4. Promotion of Community Health Services: The faculty and hospitals aim to enhance healthcare services available to the public by supporting outreach programs and health education initiatives, seeking to improve community health and well-being throughout the five-year collaboration.
  5. Support for Cultural and Ethical Development in Healthcare: The agreements highlight the importance of cultural awareness and ethical practices in nursing. Both institutions pledge to cultivate healthcare professionals who are compassionate, culturally sensitive, and equipped to serve diverse populations effectively.

The following documents are official Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between the Faculty of Nursing at Roi-Et Rajabhat University and several hospitals in Northeastern Thailand, specifically Khon Kaen, Buriram, Roi-Et, and Sakon Nakhon hospitals. These agreements, spanning from 2023 to 2028, serve as formal evidence of the commitments made in areas of health science service, education, and research collaboration.
