Workshop for Preventing and Addressing E-cigarette Issues in High Schools in Roi Et Province.

The project aimed to educate students and build skills to prevent e-cigarette use, as well as to raise awareness of the impacts and dangers associated with e-cigarettes.

Activities included expert-led lectures on health and psychology, group discussions for experience sharing, and practical sessions to enhance students’ refusal skills. Additionally, handbooks on the effects of e-cigarettes and prevention strategies were distributed to students and parents to foster understanding and effective prevention.

Supported by local government organizations, the project sought collaboration with teachers, parents, and communities to sustainably tackle e-cigarette issues in schools. Pilot activities were conducted in two schools: Phosrisawangwittaya School and Nonchaisriwittaya School in Phon Thong District, Roi Et Province.
