Description:
Roi Et Rajabhat University implements both conventional and semi-technical wastewater treatment systems to facilitate water reuse. The system utilizes a stabilization pond with aeration powered by solar cell-driven paddle wheels. Wastewater from campus buildings undergoes preliminary treatment in underground treatment tanks before flowing into the stabilization pond for further treatment.
The treated water is then repurposed for agricultural reserves and to support ecosystem maintenance across the university. This treated wastewater complies with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s standards under the Enhancement and Conservation of National Environmental Quality Act, B.E. 2548 (2005), and is reported annually to the Koh Kaew Subdistrict Municipal Office.
